1. It is imperative that all members of PSC have an exemplary attitude, therefore, we expect and demand that all members display character and integrity in all of their public actions. Arrogance and boasting will not be tolerated. Actions speak louder than words, and one's playing ability will speak louder than any boasts one can make. Degrading anyone with less playing ability is completely unacceptable. All of us were rookies at one time, and there is someone out there better than each of us. It is our desire to encourage newcomers to the game and make their playing experience enjoyable with tough, fair competition as well as helping them improve their skill. Courteous behavior is expected at all times. 2. PSC consists of members both younger and older. Members are male and female and come from a wide range of racial and social backgrounds, therefore, though not solely because of this, age-ist, sexist and racist expressions in the form of attitude, posts on any forum, and comments while playing are absolutely forbidden. For this reason also, profanity and sexual innuendo are very highly discouraged. Know your audience. 3. Talking trash can be fun sometimes when you are friendly with the recipient of the trash. However it is not the intention nor the desire of PSC to make any enemies due to loose-mouthed, tactless comments. Therefore, it is expected that all members will exercise restraint, particularly in a crowded server with individuals and clans unfamiliar to us. Again, know who your audience is. People often take jests personally, and there is really no need to make nasty remarks to strangers. Furthermore, remarks because of ping envy are unacceptable. We would all have the lowest ping possible were we able. Understandably, ping makes a difference, but it is still the right of that individual to play without being harassed. Save all remarks, frustrations, and venting for private chats with your clanmates. 4. If another player, any player, asks for advice, we ask that you be courteous and as helpful as you are able. We wish to keep no secrets from anyone. Helping and developing new players is not only a gratifying experience, it keeps interest in Q2 alive. 5. NO Cheating, NO bots, NO time enhancement programs or whatever they are. If you do... your GONE.. and advice of your cheating will be sent to the admins of other servers and clans. We want cheaters out of this game.
1. Induction into PSC is by invitation only (though expressing your interest certainly doesn't hurt ;)). Prospective candidates' membership will be discussed thoroughly by TheBigGuy and Joker before your asked to join. Membership will be granted or denied based solely on your attitude. Skill can be developed with practice. From our experience attitudes don't change for long and if you've demonstrated poor attitude or sportsmanship in the past, you probably don't have a chance of membership with PSC. 2. We tend to hesitate in accepting members younger than 18. We do have a number of members under this age, but they tend to be family or close friends of established members. If this isn't the case for you, we may ask for parental approval. Your family and intellectual development (Schoolwork etc), are more important than this game. 3. We can help you with configuration files and tips on playing styles and specific maps etc. We take pride in developing people into great players. 4. Multi-clanning (being in more then one clan at the same time) is NOT encouraged. We believe that multi-clanning is a sign of a lack of true dedication to PSC, which we desire from all our members. We request potential members to be upfront with us as far as their clan status/intentions prior to joining PSC. There may be some exceptions to this but you'll have to get the ok from TheBigGuy and Joker. The PSC tag should be worn proud and by itself. 5. You're expected to wear the PSC tag almost all the time you play. Sometimes we use aliases, but this is usually for security purposes, and sometimes in fun. If there are situations in which you feel either using your frag name or tag is not in the best interests of your stats or clan stats, use an alias such that people can identify you. We ask when using an alias you are PSC in character and integrity. 6. You can and will be kicked from this organization by TheBigGuy or Joker at any time for not complying with the spirit of the clan. Most often there is a discussion with other high ranking PSC members if this is necessary. Basically, if you don't represent us well then we don't want you, regardless of skill.
